Cinema City and NEU Tbilisi: heritage takes centre stage
Two projects connect contemporary homes with Tbilisi’s heritage.
On 1 October 2026, we welcomed guests from business, diplomacy, government and cinema to the historic Georgian Film studio pavilion. Theatrical performances connected Cinema City and NEU Tbilisi with the stories of their settings, accompanied by Nika Nikvashvili’s orchestra and Nataliko Kutateladze.
Archil Sologhashvili and Gvantsa Daraselia presented both developments. Cinema City connects the film studio’s legacy with contemporary homes, while NEU Tbilisi brings a new residential vision to Chugureti. The Philharmonic’s outdoor screen broadcast the event.
